Scope: Product Design, Design System (mobile app + admin panel)
Timeline: 2025–2026
My role: Sole designer
A white-label event app, designed so it can be rebranded without being redesigned.

The Problem
WeGather sells event organization software to companies that want it to look like their software. That means every screen has to survive rebranding without breaking: colors, logos, and identity swapped per client. A design that's merely customizable wasn't enough; it had to be systematically customizable.
Constraints
Two products at once: end-user mobile app + client-facing admin panel
The Approach
Decision 1: Tokens before screens. I built the design system first: reusable components and design tokens on Figma, with the white-label boundary defined at the token level. What can be rebranded and what can't is a documented decision, not a per-request negotiation.
Decision 2: shadcn for the admin panel. The admin panel uses the shadcn UI library instead of a fully custom kit. Admins need clarity and dev-speed, not brand expression. The customization budget belongs on the end-user side.
