I built a game for my CV. But why?
I’ve applied to countless jobs, but only heard back from a few. Most of them were auto-generated responses. And I thought: “Why is it so easy to get my CV and treat it like just a piece of paper (or PDF)?” To me, it’s the sum of my ongoing professional experience, and it means a lot.
Ignoring candidates is easy. But job applicants are more than CVs, and recruiters should take their time to understand whom they’re moving forward with, or rejecting.
I believe that the majority of the companies that received my CV didn’t even look at it. So I decided to build a game to make sure that anyone who wants to see my CV will first take their time, engage with it, and truly earn it.
